Just my luck....

So the Mrs said the other day, "I'm going shopping on Tuesday, why don't you go flying?"

Not a cloud in the sky, perfect for aero's..................and I really need to crack on with the standard sequence

and the plane's gone tech :(

$£""£$###!"£!!##&&^&

(that's me swearing)

At my level of flying, there are three things I need to go up:
1) Instructor
2) Aeroplane
3) Good weather.

Recently though, it's been 'pick any two of the three"

:{ :{ :{

--OR I have had unbreakable commitments elsewhere. So it's not just your luck, MB... it's mine too... and probably just about everyone else too... dammit...

Also commonly known as Sod's Law! :(

omcaree 28th Dec 2004 15:23

I find Murphy's Law tends to apply to all things aeronautical.

Anything that can go wrong, will
Anything that just cannot go wrong, will anyway

or, with regards to weather,

Mother nature is a b*tch

:sad:

Only one thing for it,

You have to explain to the Mrs how important it is that you have a share in a second aeroplane.

Nothing doing in lovely Lyon today!

Viz went down to 500 metres in the snow! Ho hum - winter in Europe! :rolleyes:

Remove the word second, and I'm thinking that very thing.....

Pitts S1A or a Yak52 that I know of without even looking

Genghis the Engineer 28th Dec 2004 20:57

You know it makes sense.

Personally I'd go for the Yak - it has some semblence of practicality as a normal aeroplane, whereas the Pitts is really about pure aeros only.
