Congratulations Penguina
I have been reliably informed that our own Penguina has taken the runners up position in the range and endurance competition at the Ladies Cup at Teuge, Many congratulations
I haven't heard how our other teams did and if came away with anything, but I hope the sad event at he start of the competition didn't spoil it for them all.
Once again well done Penguina

Well done Penguina! It was nice to meet you and your gang from Elstree, excellent bunch of folk. I heard you on the r/t when we were coasting out en route back to blighty, we went for lunch in the Ardennes at Spa-La Sauveniere (EBSP), thoroughly recommend it a lovely airfield, very welcoming.
I was given a copy of the results as I left and not only did you win runners-up prize, but your were second placed out of all the British G reg teams.
Well Done indeed Lady 29.
P.S. The skipper of our ship calculated that, based on our position in the last competition and this years result, we could win in the two Breitling watches in the year 2015! I could save up my pocket money and buy them by the year 2012!

Aw shucks...
Well, like I told my boss, me and the Elstree gang 'diverted' to St Omer due to 'weather' on Sunday and stayed overnight there. So I'm now finally back in London Tahn and raring to go again!
Am hoping to write an in-depth PIREP before too long, but I thought I might drag the thread back up the top to discuss the excellent suggestions of BRL... Anyone free on 11/10 for a bash or somesuch?
Regarding the accident on Friday, don't know how up to date people are, but the last I heard (Saturday night) the navigator was already released from hospital and the pilot had been through some very successful surgery and was recovering well. Lets wish her a full recovery.

Hi Penguina.
Congratulations. Sorry to hear about your 'forced' overnight in St Omer. life can be tough!
A bash on 11/10 sounds like an excellent idea, although 'somesuch' sounds even better
Looks like TKF has the same idea...
