Recency requirements

I’ve just got my licence through and wanted to book a flight for tomorrow.

But… my skills test was put under PIC/US. Does this count as 3 takeoff and landings as the solo manipulator of the controls?

i.e. am I within the 90 day rule for carrying passengers. My flights before this we’re skills test prep’ as P/UT and the last time I was PIC before the test was the QXC early March.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

Spike

I was told that the t/o and landings required under the 90day rule require you to be the 'sole manipulator of the controls'... so it doesn't matter who you had in the r/h seat, as long as you were the one that carried out the manoevre solely.

I have also been told that touch and goes count as landings in this context, as well.

HB is correct. Touch and goes count. if your skills test contained 3 T/O and landings and was less than 90 days ago that's fine.

ok thanks for that Hersh and Rodger.

I did exactly 3 on my test and it was far less than 90days.

Cheers
