Lots of Gliders about next week
Folks I have no doubt that you will pick up from NOTAMs that next week there are two gliding competitions taking place - one at Lasham and the other (which I am competing in) from Bicester.
At Bicester we expect at least 75 gliders plus 6 tugs (Aerbabe if you want to see a single seat 'munk come and have a look). I expect the Lasham comp to be slightly larger.
Please exercise an exceptional lookout if transiting near these two sites in the starting zone (within 6 kms of the site - all the gliders should be turning in left) - and if along the way you get mugged by a gaggle going past you at a feenomeanal rate of knots - smile and wave nicely it might be me.
