Just had this passed to me from Shoreham via my NC rep.
Due to an error beyond our control, please note that the £1M insurance
requirements to fly into Kemble is incorrect and only £500,000 is required.
Please pass the word around.
Thank you.

This appeared on the PFA forum board recently...
Hello All
I believe this was a "typo " that arrived during the printing process which we have no control over. I can confirm that the PFA only requires £500,000 third party liability cover for the PFA rally.

Hi noblues,
Here is a link to the CAA "Ontrack" document. It includes the AIC 41/2003 (Yellow 106) and maps, photos and lots of other useful info. It is a large document (1.08MB) so if you have a 44kbps internet link you might want to right mouse click and use the "Save Target As...." function and download it to your local drive.
The AIC itself can be downloaded from the AIP here . Same thing applies as above concerning document size the AIC is 543KB. For the second link you will need to type in your login name and password for the AIP.
If you have the "Ontrack" you should not need the actual AIC as it is incorporated verbatim.
Regards
Andy

Another little boob has come to light on the AIC and associated information.
AIC 41/2003 (Yellow 106) and AIC 40/2003 (Mauve 80) state the the PFA Rally TRA centred on Kemble airfield is 2.5nm radius. However on the diagrams in the "On Track" and the AICs it is 3nm. The correct radius is 3nm. A NOTAM correcting this is on it's way and should pop up in the AIS PIB tool in due course.
Here is AIC 40/2003 (Mauve 80)
Also from the PFA forums board is that the Rally Information Phone No 07792 554238 will be available from 8am Thurs 10th July.

There seems also to be some conflict with the AIC and the ontrack doc regarding contacting Brize. In the AIC it says not to contact Brize ,lyneham etc but in the ontrack if coming from Membury to contact Brize regarding parachuting and gliding in the sand hill and redlands area. surely they'll get a little cheesed off if we all call regarding this info.
Also as a Tyro any advise on a FIS when flying from Wyvombe to Kemble ...I normally use Brize... London info will probably be swamped but I feel I should talk to some one (joys of being a Tyro!)
thanks in advance
