Not going this time round. Took the old man to the last evening display for Fathers' Day - absolutely fantastic.

Of course, if you want to pick me up in your Chippy then I might change my mind...

The Shuttleworth 1930's Air Show takes place at Old Warden next Sunday.

Provisionally booked to take part are:

Maggie x2, Tiger Moth, Hermes Moth - Limbo, flour bombing, balloon busting, spot landing
Chipmunk - ribbon pick up and cut
Little Diamonds - 5 Tigers ex-Diamond Nine
Blackburn B2/Redwing
Cygnet/DH53/Chiltern
Gipsy Moth
Miles Falcon
Dart Kitten
Avro 19
Gladiator and Hind
Lysander Hurricane and Spitfire
Blackburn/Avro Triplane/Boxkite - subject to weather

Gates open at 0900, display starts at 1400, finishes around 1730.

Air arrival slots from 01767 627288, 01767 627563 on the day from about 0830.

Overnight accommodation available, call 01767 627100. Pre-booking essential. Other accommodation available locally.

It's a great day. Lots to see and do. Great children's play area. Really good food and refreshments available. The Shuttleworth shop. Loads of stalls to browse.

Join the Shuttleworth Veteran Aeroplane Society (SVAS) and get 50% reduction on display days, FREE entry to the museum on other days and FREE landing fees on non-display days. Also 10% reduction in the shop.
