Wingfield..?
Does anyone know of a private strip just outside Trowbridge (Wilts) called Wingfield? It's shown on the half-mil chart but not listed in either this year's Pooleys or last year's AFE VFR Guide.
If anyone has been there or knows who to contact for PPR please post a reply. Hoping to pop in and see my brother this summer - he lives in Trowbridge. Alternatively any info. on other nearby airfields you can recommend would be appreciated.

Thanks Evo - but this lists "Winfield" which is up North (near Berwick-Upon-Tweed). However it will be a useful reference anyway and I could try for Wing Farm (near Warminster) instead if Wingfield is not an option.
Keevil would also be ideal but I haven't seen this listed in Pooleys or AFE. The half-mil VFR chart shows that Keevil is used for para-dropping and gliding and to stay well clear - does anyone know if it's therefore completely off limits to GA aircraft?
