Sounds just like me
I gained my PPL in '89 down in Lands End, then allowed it to lapse.
I have just started the NPPL at Conington, and as such I am waiting for my 3rd 'Solo' The first was the gliding solo way back when, the second was the PPL one, now the NPPL one.
Congrats anyway, here's hoping I can make a similar post in a little while.
