Shoreham closed (16th jan)

Anyone know what happened to close Shoreham today? I believe someone (Pa28?) went off the end, but for some reason the main road was closed as well.

Traffic news when I was driving home said there was an accident at the lights on the A27 just north of the aerodrome. Not connected AFAIK.

There was a four car pile up at the lights on the A27 at the 21 end of the field. The last vehicle was a truck carrying gas cylinders or something and the old bill closed the road off for a while whillst it was cleared.

An aeroplane also overshot the end of 03 and went into the grass. Because of the crash, planes were using 03 and one simply overshot and was towed back to the terminal area. Boring really.
