I used to use wapmx, but changed my phone, and now it don't work. The wapmx website gives no clue where the TAF/METAR service is to be found, or ami I being particulalrly thick?
Any clues gratefully received.

I did find a site a while ago, but I can't remember the URL. I gave up because it wasn't the official met-office TAFs, and they were less accurate than the official ones. I think I found it by typing "METAR" into wap.yahoo.co.uk or something.

This is the URL I've got stored in my phone - it links to the Manston (EGMH) METAR so just change it for your local field...
http://jaguar.wapmx.com/servlets/Fly...e=METAR&fw=aye
I've never actually compared the METAR I get through this to the official ones from the Met Office website, so I can't vouch for its accuracy...
Click here to try the above WapMX site from your PC via a WAP emulator...
