Florida hourbuilding cost?
How much are the cost of say, 2 weeks in Florida, hour building in a C172/similar? Its a long way off for me yet, looking at finishing the PPL training in 2004! (then paying for stuff like getting a car, then (dare i say it) the insurance for the damn thing!) ?
Anyone?

Hi Coke611,
Shame you can"t fit in any flying till 2004.
The prices for hour building in florida at the moment are 2wks digs at the flight school say 150 bucks per week. You can buy a block of 50 and 100 hours wet for around 60-65 bucks an hour.
I would not like to guess how much it would all cost in 2004. Good luck!

Florida Institute of Technology based at Melbourne International do a wet lease on two of their 152's for the great price of $55 per hour.
Good deal. Bloody good deal actually, plus you get the experience of flying out of a busy international airport in some of the busiest airspace going. Stand you in good stead for later on...blah...blah.........
