Garmin 196 question

I am seriously considering buying the new Garmin 196 GPS.

I have been completely sold on all the reviews about it , but one question I still have is , will it do basic calcs, like a CRP1 does, or will I still have to keep my, albeit 'electronic' style CRP1 ?

Your answers, and any comments on the 196 will be much appreciated.
