Flying in Tenerife
Tend to visit Tenerife a couple of times a year and would like to fly a bit whilst I am there next. Anybody know if there is an aeroclub at either of the airports or anywhere else ? Have searced the net without any success. Where does the banner towing guy fly from who goes up and down the beaches at Los Americas ???

There is a club at Los Rodeos called 'Real Aeroclub de Tenerife' I think. Spoke to them when I was out there in 2000, they spoke far better English than my Spanish and charged about £85 ph for a Warrior or Tomahawk. Never got round to doing any flying though.....sun, sand, San Miguel!!
There was also a very short and tatty looking strip with a couple of microlights on near to Bahia Del Duque a few miles outside Las Americas...maybe the banner towing Cessna operates from there?
