VFR waypoints databases (free)

Yesterday evening I added track calculation to my flight planning/plog generator spreadsheet but the database of locations is quite small at the moment. Are there any freely available waypoint databases (VRP, navaids, airports) out there? I found one for gliding but it is missing most of the relevant points, at least for SE England.
