I just bought part of one, figuring that I could fly out to the ridges and thermals work forced me to move away from.
To my eye, they seem to be more popular in Europe than in the USA.
So far it's been a blast . . . not a 40:1 ship by any means, but different, and convenient if the closest club is a two hour drive.
