Record breaking airport charges increase?
HIAL have increased their charges for the airports that they run in the north of Scotland.
An example:
Basing at Inverness for a week and doing day trips to other HIAL airports for lunch/visits.
In the past:

In the past:
- Landing fee Inverness: £25
- Parking 7 days @£10 per 24 hours: £70
- Landing fee 1 island per day: 6 x £25 = £150
- Parking 2-3 hours at each island: £0
- Landing back at Inverness each day 6 x £25 = 150
- Total cost approx : £395
- Landing and Navigation charge at Inverness: £50 X 7 = £350
- Parking Inverness £90 per 24 hours = £630!
- Landing at each island 6 x £50 = £300
- Parking at each island as lunch takes more than an hour = £40 x 6 = £240
- TOTAL cost now £1520
