Shoreham

Hi All,

Getting back into the swing of things after years away and have noticed my local field, Shoreham, seems crazy expensive. Any recommended alternatives to use to train?

TIA

Any recreational field in BE. For example EBKH Keiheuvel, EBHN Hoevenen, EBZH Kiewit all charge 5 euros for landing, EBZW perhaps slightly more. Touch and go's are often limited to local pilots, though.

Or, if that is too far, please define what is an acceptable distance.

Try this, recommend Hampshire Aeroplane Club.

Awesome thanks. Is the airspace busy around there or pretty good for circuits?

Fine for circuits, plenty of relatively uncongested Class G airspace for general handling, the scenic south coast and Isle of Wight, Class D airspace nearby (Solent CTA) to get practice of operating in controlled airspace, Lee has a lot going for it.
