Some sad news from Sussex.Bill Coles who devoted so much time over the years in turning part of his farm near Battle in Sussex has passed away after a short illness.Those close to the airstrip will no doubt be aware his funeral is next Thursday. Bill was a true supporter of GA and it remains to be seen what will happen to Spilstead.The property sits in a very expensive part of Sussex . I doubt any new owners will want to entertain light aircraft
