Question Blackbushe Airport flying schools (PPL)?

Interested to hear if anyone has any experience or opinions of doing their PPL at Blackbushe? It is the most convenient airport for me to get to so have spoken to the three schools and been up with two of them, all seem to have their pros and cons. Struggling to make a final decision.

I've just completed my PPL training at Blackbushe ... I only thought there were two schools? ;-)

You'll know which to choose from the combination of -

What courses the school offers for your ambition : microlight, PPL(A), IR and beyond.
How well you got on with the people you met : professional/more relaxed or club like, younger or older etc.
Aircraft choice and types to suit your 'mission'.
Number of instructors available.
School history and longevity.

All of the above will apply and in no particular order other than the People , that's way up there, honestly. You'll be in amongst it through thick and thin and it's the people that really matter throughout the duration.

And lastly:
What £££ charged for what you want to do. If you're at Blackbushe, then you've already chosen to go premium!

Great place to learn that's for sure, you'll get the full works of Zone Transits and Local Flying Area procedures amongst a busy mixed fleet of aircraft. Love lining up with Yaks, Falcon Exec jets, a Float plane (yes!) and some shiny new Socatas amongst the usuals. It's invaluable experience to get you on top for when you're released to the sky, and worth the premium! The Pathfinder Cafe is also handy for the calming coffee after a session beasting the circuit! :-)

Hope that helps?
