Swiss minister SEP fail

Swiss interior minister busted flying into military airspace in France in a 182. Not the best article but the only I found in English.
Guess it can happen to anyone. Bit embarassing, though

I find this newsworthy as I can’t think of any other active head of state flying a SEP, let alone being forced down by a foreign airforce !

There is also a significant political undertone to it as he is part of the Socialist party who is trying to pass legislation to ban all internal flights in Switzerland, including general aviation (this is just proposed legislation but still not reflecting too well on the minster, who actually has all my sympathy !)

This caused quite a stir in the Swiss German-language press, and indeed the poor guy may be forced to resign. The details are somewhat vague, as might be expected. Difficult to imagine a reasonably experienced private pilot can foul up to that extent.

Not to be too pedantic, but he's not the head of state...

Is it known which bit of airspace he infringed upon?

Well closest thing you'll find in Switzerland.

Is it known which bit of airspace he infringed upon?

Recent development: after review of ATC tapes it turns out that the controller got the call sign wrong (HB-TOR vs the actual HB-TDR), so he tried to raise a non existing aircraft…
Also VFR pilots have been requested to keep ATC use as low as possible due to staff shortage.

All in all the proverbial Swiss cheese
