What's different about the M4 microphone?
The only alternative to Transair is probably either DC themselves, or a specialist firm like Canford.

Not quite sure what it is you are looking for. If it's just a pair of DC10-40s then they appear second hand from time to time. www.thehangar.co.uk is worth looking at for that.
If you've already got a broken pair that needs fixing, then a friend of mine had his DC10-40s fixed by Headset Services at Shoreham Airport - might be worth giving them a try. Cannot post the link (BRL will kill me), but their website name is quite obvious, and in the .co.uk domain...

Thanks.
Aleady tried Headset Services and others.
They have ordered new mikes for members of our group and they don't work. I need to find an old one. They don't know why only those work, but that's how it is.
I only really need a mike because there are options on headsets to which it can be fitted.
If you have one I could buy please let me Know.
Thanks for your interest.

New mikes that don't work? Are the folks fixing them aware of the workings of the mikes? There are a few things that can be got wrong.
Are the mikes genuine DC, or are they spurious parts from elsewhere?
It's worth finding out the spec of the "original" mike, and getting a replacement to the same spec if you want to do it "right".
If you're using it in a conventional aircraft, it doesn't even matter what headset the mike was designed for as long as it fits the headset you're using it with.
