Pilots who make a medical declaration using the portal will not receive an acknowledgement email or confirmation of acceptance of the declaration in any form.

Pilots can log into the portal to check the details of the medical declaration they have made, in addition there is the function to print the declaration if the pilot wishes to hold a paper copy of the declaration made.

Frozen Cellma

Thank you for your explanation, I will assume that my previous declaration was received!
The lack of confirmation illustrates the CAA lack of interest in these declarations.
Trying to check my record using the Cellma system the page just 'freezes' the selection going green but no records shown.
I'll try to get some help from the CAA, wish me luck!

Yo will need it!
Just go back in and make the declaration again. If you look in the top right corner you will see a button marked dopwnload where you can get a copy. Its a fairly meaningless documednt that doesn't identify you in any way. If you want you can self certify that its you as follows:
I confirm this pilot medical declaration print out is applicable to me and is correct’

Print Name

CAA Reference Number

Date
