E-AB aircraft outside US

Complete amateur here. My question is: to what extent an E-AB (Experimental-Amateur Built) N registered aircradt can be used outside the USA ? Say one of those nifty Evolution Turboprop: can you fly them unrestricted around the world (most importantly in Europe) with a FAA license ? What use can you have of such an aircraft ?
