AAIB Report G-BHDG

I wonder if anyone could help find a report for a crash on 13th February 1979 in Northumberland?
Piper PA28

Thanks,
T18

Can't see anything other than a brief note in a book I have that it crashed on a hillside near Langleyford.

The AAIB's mission to digitise all reports and host them on their site seems to have stalled unfortunately.

Perhaps they could supply a copy by email? [email protected]

Mentioned in a book - "Almost Forgotten: The search for aviation accidents in Northumberland" by Chris R Davies

The extract here gives details about the accident to G-BHDG:

I have received a very prompt response from AAIB explaining that I may have to wait a little time as they only have paper copies of this report which is probably why I was unable to find it online.

Impressive service.

They kindly provided me with a report for a helicopter crash in 1963.
Excellent service.
