Would members like to recommend aviation podcasts they enjoy listening to?
This is not about promotion for a podcast creator, but, like a good book, we members telling each other what we enjoy ourselves....
As recommended to me by a fellow PPRuNer, I've been really enjoying a number of Royal Aeronautical Society podcasts, some history, and some up to date information too!
I have particularly enjoyed CAA Pilot David Davies lectures on testing and certification of airliners, John Farley's lecture on VTOL aircraft, Astronaut Al Worden about an Appolo spaceflight, and Mr. RA Collar discussing flutter, among others. This is the main link, though I admit to having a little trouble navigating to each podcast I've listened to through this link, I find some, but not all:

I’ve found Top Landing Gear (UK based) interesting an frequently very funny as well.
If you’re interested in military aircraft, I’d highly recommend “The Fighter Pilot Podcast”. It’s hosted by a former USN F/A-18 pilot.
It’s well produced and features interviews with many military aviators and occasionally support personnel.
Their F-15 series was a particular highlight. 😎

Nothing aviation related at all but David Frost’s son has reedited and released a bunch of old interviews as podcasts. Yesterday I listened to him talking with Joe Biden in the eighties. Times change - but not very much!
I am not a big podcast listener, but I have at times enjoyed episodes of:
- Airplane Geeks Podcast - http://www.airplanegeeks.com/
- Xtended - https://aviation-xtended.co.uk/
- Airline Pilot Guy - Aviation Podcast - Airline Pilot Guy
- The Old Pilot's Plane Tales - The Old Pilot?s Plane Tales | Airline Pilot Guy - Aviation Podcast (actually a subchannel of the previous one)

I recommend any of the podcasts by Ryan Van Haren who is a controller at Vancouver and a pilot-coach. Fascinating stuff ranging from back-country landings to IFR procedures with some interesting human factors pieces for good measure. A mainly BC/Canadian orientation but much is applicable to aviation elsewhere:

I have listened to almost all of the 55 available episodes. They can be downloaded via your favourite podcast app - search for Cardinal Aviation. For iPhone users, I recommend Overcast.

Max Trescott's Aviation News Talk is good - focussed on pilot training and safety, initial and continuing development, plus news and accident analysis.

I have been enjoying "Inside the Aluminum Tube"
It's a recounting of aviation accidents and events. The presenter is a 787 pilot, who generally speaks with appropriate experience. He shares the podcast with a non aviation co-host whose questions balance out the aviation speak, usually in a humorous way...

Looks like there is a new Radio Station & Podcast dedicated to General Aviation coming soon, will be interesting to see how this works.
Looking at their social media and website seems to fill me with some hope.

Seems alot of UK based content either old or dropped off the radar these days :-(
