Re-validating PPL(A) SEP

Good afternoon all,

Just after some information please, I gained my PPL back in 2014 and for the first year I was out every weekend flying and for the second year just stopped due to unforeseen circumstances. My licence ran out in 2016 and I would love to get back in to it, am I right in thinking that all I would need to do is a proficiency check with an examiner? I would obviously need to take some lessons beforehand to get back up to speed with it. Any guidance would be much appreciated!

Hello and welcome back!!

Yes you are right - get in touch ( later this year) with a local training school and get an assessment. The rules say sufficient training followed by a test. A medical as well..
All a bit problematic at the moment with the whole industry grounded but you can still set things up.
