Any recommendations for light aircraft engineering-PA28 & C182? Preferably Channel Islands/Southern England

Iscavia in Exeter-maybe a little further west than you wanted but they’ve done a fantastic job keeping my 150 airborne over the years, including a more or less complete rebuild (don’t ask, long story). Great value for money

ASG Guernsey are good and you have the added advantage that there is no VAT.

KB aviation at Shoreham (01273 453333) looked after my C172 and then my PA28 for about 10 years in total.
They were always helpful and had a rapid turnaround for annuals, (never more than a few days).

The Classic Aeroplane Company Ltd at Oaksey Park, Wiltshire.

Very diligent team, great guys, lovely aerodrome. Not sure if that is too far for you.
