Are you a member of the mile-high club?
Since the questions about people's flying habits are flying thick and fast, I thought I'd ask if there are any bona fide members of the mile-high club using this forum?
I'm not, by the way, but would particularly like to hear from any members who have accomplished this feat in a tandem two-seat Piper aircraft. It may be that there is a place in medical science waiting for you.

No, unfortunately, but she did like practising forced landings. Can't comment on how many degrees of ...no, no, no. Decorum prohibits me. I'm sure you all got there before me anyway...

No but could be fun......
Remember Backcourse Localiser followed by missed approach could lead to serious injury, especially if turbulence is encountered on final Would be better to try some touch and goes, and finally go for a full flap landing......
Ahhh.....fantasies

Did consider it once in an aircraft on the ground at Denver I think (which qualifies for altitude). Managed other activities at that altitude in the U.K but space has prohibited qualifying for full membership. Also thought about it as a business opportunity - take couples to 5280 ft for 10 minutes and return, total trip time around 30 mins. In a Seneca or 310 thats about £150. Daft idea but interesting job to talk about at parties... "you'll never guess who I had in the back of my plane last week...."

Once had the promise of something interesting over the Yorkshire dales in a Warrior..
But once airborne she (now the Mrs) changed her mind, and now there is no chance..
