1st Solo Flight!

After 2 months of rigorous training and dedication, last Sunday i was on one of those dual trainings in the traffic pattern, while i was cleared on final for one more touch and go, my instructor changed request fr a full stop, i was surprised but too focused to ask why.

On touch down he asked me to exit at first taxiway and stop when passing abeam tower. Held the brakes and he jumped off wishing me "have a nice flight" as he was shutting the door behind... That was it, i was left there wandering. The silence was deafening.

I returned to the holding point of the active, acted as if nothing happened, yet the silence in the cockpit was so weird. I reached to the tower requesting clearence to depart and remain in the traffic pattern with a nervous, almost stuttering voice, after that it all went by unexplicably fast, i cant seem. To remember anything after that. TIME passed really quick and before i knew it i was there established on final once more. The aircraft (an old Rheims Cessna 172m) was performing amazingly better with one less passenger. I remember flaring just on tje sweet spot but the aircraft refusing to sink even though my airspeed was right on (55kts) and no winds. I started floating, and just when stall horn began complaining.. Touch down..it was the best, smoothest and most proper landing iv ever done since i commenced training.

It all miraculously came together, approach speed, glide slope, centerline, flare, airspeed, all of them.

I exited and thanked the ATC fr their cooperation, i remember an aircraft flying in the vicinity congratulating me as well from their part as theve been monitoring the same freq.

Easily one of the best moments of my entire life, too overwhelming to describe in words.

Now i know how it all feels like..

P/s :, Apologize fr my syntax and grammar errors since im not a native Enlgish speaker.

Welcome to the group Mikolaos. A great feeling isn't it! The cabin seemed much more roomy didn't it!

Funny but my first solo was almost identical.Only thing was when the Instuctor said I’ll put the coffee on so it’s ready for when you get back.
i remember thinking as I turned final and checked flaps and speed “ If I get this wrong” Oh well the coffee is usually Crap anyway.
Happy days and Congrats
