Boeing buys ForeFlight
Boeing announced on Wednesday that it has acquired aviation app company ForeFlight.
The initial comments on the AvWeb post make depressing reading.

Hard to expect anything but a disaster. Jepp service to GA pilots went seriously downhill after the Boeing acquisition. Now Boeing owns two competing products, hard to imagine them both surviving. Let's hope an alternative to Foreflight shows up before Boeing makes it unaffordable and wrecks it. Otherwise it'll be back to paper charts and approach plates :-(
