Fat for fuel

I’ve just been talking to a colleague who also flies and it turns out that we’ve both been losing weight recently, motivated largely by the desire to carry more fuel. In fact, we both expressed the amount we’d lost in terms of the extra flying endurance – about an hour each so far.

Is this taking things too far, or does everybody do it?

I saw an article recently about engines adapted for burning caster oil (admittedly in cars).. why not rig yourself up an aero version attached to a liposuction needle ..

loose weight and increase aicraft range

Fairly normal symptom of aviation addiction, I would say.
