Well, I was going to miss out the Harvard, cos that's a bit greedy. I thought I'd move onto the P-51 next, and then I'll aspire to an Auster

Yes, but it doesn't belong to Barry anymore. I think it was bought by a student PPL who has kept it at Clipgate until he's got his licence and built some hours flying tailwheels etc.

TWO seats?

All sorts of thoughts are working through my mind, including "was one for me?"

I'll try to make it down from Insch International in G-ARWR, a Cessna 172B (The one with no back window). Can only get 2 up with full fuel from Inch, any more would need picking up at Aberdeen.

Grass no problem - we occassionally had to use the grass taxiway here when 13/31 was out!

Cheers,

C-dog

Talking b there or b square

Ill come if thats ok, what sort of a/c would u prefer? old and intetresting or new and sporty? Prob a spare seat from a location in the middle of england (aerobabe) if any one wants a ride! What sort of things do u all get up to? should i bring mi clubin gear or just mi 'ed sets. let me know.

p.s if auster is what u r aspiring to aerobabe, stick with the p51 they are much easier to fly!!!! pmsl.

Currently 24 aircraft registered on the site, arriving from 23 different airfields. Impressive

Will endeavour to come. Spare seat available in Cap 10 from Waltham or can pick up en route. Anyone welcome to the spare seat but those who like going upside down may get preference.

Nice one FNG - will contact you nearer the time to see if you want to fly down in lose formation.

As for going upside-down, how can anyone not like it! I might take you up on that once we get to Sywell. But I'll give preference to others, since I had the privilege of going upside-down with you at Popham, and once before too.

Looks like I'm going to have to cancel I'm afraid due to family probs.

I'll leave my name on the list just in case though.

Red face

Jeez,

Just looked at the map & realised how far south Sywell is. Thought this was a northern fly-in!!

In the event I make it I will need a fuel stop en-route. Any recommendations? - Newcastle used to be a QXC stop from up here but I hear there is mandatory handling charges now. Heathrow or what?

Any tips appreciated. Can pick up en route within reason if I travel.
