Flying to the mediteranian

Myself and a friend want to fly down to the Med in late August, and need all the help we can get! Having never flown outside the UK before we dont know how to get weather each day, what charts to use, which books to read, any airports that people can reccomend or advise against and any known problems with flying in France. Has anyone got any experience or advice they can share - everything will be helpful

give us a clue !

Tell us all the destination as the med stretches from the Lebanon in the east to Gibraltar in the west.

I know that then you will get a lot of well targeted good advice.

May I suggest a day trip to Calais before you start thinking about touring the met?
