Angel Flight East Invites all to their Fly-BQ!

Angel Flight East is inviting all pilots and their friends and family to come hangout at their annual Fly-BQ on May 19th! This is an opportunity to meet your fellow pilots and the staff at AFE. You can either fly in or drive in, with airport fees being waived for attendees. The event includes your standard BBQ fare, raffles, lawn games, and a kids corner. All proceeds from the event go to supporting the mission at AFE.

Check out the flyer for details!

Angel Flight East is a 501(c)3 non-profit that fulfills a number of roles in the Northeast with the help of private pilots who serve as the backbone of the organization. The key services that AFE provides includes flying patients and their families to distant medical treatment, providing supplies to disaster areas, and reuniting families during tough times. Bearing in mind this is a world-wide forum, it would be useful to know that you mean Northeast USA!

So typical of US'ans to think it obvious everything happens in US and nothing happens elsewhere. Then again, nobody said this forum is limited geographically, so why not..? But a bit more precision would stand out, yes.

Mind you, there have been plenty of English post referring to the "North East" meaning around East Yorkshire, rather than, say, around Aberdeen!

And BTW - if a bit off-topic - North-East Yorkshire is an excellent environment - superb memory of the Redcar Sword Dancers!
