Good morning,
I am finally looking to get my PPL and then move on to instructor training, can anyone recommend a good flight school in the west midlands (solihull, warwickshire, coventry area) there are 4 around but i don't know anyone that has had personal experience at any of these.
Your help is appreciated!

TakeFlight, based at Wellesbourne. Not just instruction, but a nice place to be a member when you are learning and after you get your PPL. They have a good range of aircraft and instructors. Mike and his team make big efforts to provide good facilities. No, I'm not on their staff!
Before and after you get your PPL, don't underestimate the value of networking and flying with other members. I think some schools are just training establishments.

I would say South Warwickshire Flying School at Wellesbourne would offer you best value and have a good team. Also when visiting a school ask what percentage of instructors are part time. Also check that you will have one instructor allocated to you, rather that constantly different instructors.
