HELP. Previous JAR PPL Training hours for EASA PPL

Hi.

I started my PPL back in 2006, got 24 hours and then bailed due to cost.
I want to start back up. Are any of my hours creditable towards an EASA PPL? I'll be using the same training provider so their records should correspond with mine.

Have tried to find an answer, any help appreciated.

Thanks.

12 years later, what is your current training status? Is it worth and equal to your training status back in 2006? Given your estimated age it will not matter whether anything is credited. You have to run the syllabus according to FCL and you will end up in the ballpark of at very least the minimum hours.

WindSheer, unfortunately credit towards the Part-FCL PPL for any previous JAR-FCL training conducted before Sep 2012 ended last year.

However, it is still valid for NPPL(SSEA) training. If you complete an NPPL(SSEA) before 8th April 2018, you can subsequently convert it to a Part-FCL LAPL(A) or PPL(A).

But you must have obtained the NPPL before 8th April 2018!

Many RFs are still too set in their ways to know this, it seems....

Or use it towards an FAA PPL, they will accept all hours. You can validate and fly in the UK on an FAA PPL or use it as a stepping stone to CPL

Rubbish news but what I expected.
Thanks for taking the time.
