In my (so far doomed) quest to meet up with other PPRUNErs at a public event (even if only to convince myself that this was a bad idea in the first place) I will be attempting to get to Old Warden for the evening show this Saturday(although having some difficulty sorting out passes at present). The last one was a low light washout for decent pics so I am hopeful that all will be well this time round. Next to the Moth event at Woburn (which I also hope to get to (new harness permitting) Old Warden is my favourite photo shoot location. Great atmosphere, not too busy, and aircraft which I have a chance of keeping in frame for more than a millisecond.
The press enclosure is near the tower and usually only a handful of journos and snappers there so if you happen to be passing and have recently been to the burger dispenser please try and track me down (best identification is to look for the guy with the most kit lying around but clearly doesn't have a clue how to use it properly!).
