Just a simple question

Hi,
I was just thinking about catching up on my basic maths again, which areas of maths for PPL standards to concentrate on etc.

I was thinking it would be good to be upto date on:

Speed/Distance/Time calculations
Trig.
Load calculations
Ratios maybe....

Does anyone recommend any other areas to concentrate on, or any that I've mentioned to leave out?

Many thanks in advance

Happy Landings

Ian

Thumbs up

Ian_Wannabe

If you want to "polish up" as you suggest I would think the best you could do would be to smarten up your mental arithmatic and perhaps commit to memory the general "rule of thumb" guidelines like the 1 in 60 rule, etc.

Rgds
