and never will if we don't post things there but have them here. Mods should either move all A&CC threads, or shut the alternate category

Accident threads get lost in clutter and rarely reviewed - we see the stats.

The separate forum grows access and simpler review from the past.

That's why.

So this thread for news which it was, accident thread for access and review to where it can be moved for those interested in such things.

I just get the impression that this is about head in the sand and pretend this sort of thing doesn't happen or lets keep it happy clappy and nothing evers happens to darken our day.

Anything but! The A&CC forum is to enable easy access to information and learning! If an accident/incident/close call is buried among other private flying posts, that's where it will be lost more quickly.

We can learn something from nearly every event. It would be preferred if accident posts were posted to A&CC first. They're okay in PF, as they are "news" so to speak, but mods will usually move them to A&CC before long. That's where the useful information will be more easily found in the future.

Thank you Bose. My aircraft has a limitation in the POH of a max operating air temperature of 25 deg C and a pal of mine with a similar aircraft visits Spanhoe regularly but clearly it wasn't him.
