Hello from Wiltshire
Hi All.
I thought I should post a quick "Hello World" post before i started participating in what looks to be a really useful forum!
Im just starting my LAPL after a false start about 5 years ago. I look forward to gaining some experience from you veterans and hopefully being able to pay back later when I have some of my own
Cheers
Pat

Hello! You'll get lots of good advice on here - and see some unimpressive opinionated arguments as well... the Internet, I guess!
Sometimes people will say 'ask your instructor'. That's not usually because they are being difficult - it's just that sometimes, instructors will have their own plan for you which could be messed up by contradictory suggestions on here.
But good luck with it all - where do you fly?

I'm flying out of Old Sarum (EGLS) which is a really nice strip just outside of Salisbury on the Hants/ Wilts border
It's interestingly close to Boscombe down too which I'm sure will give me some good MATZ experience
School and instructors seem to be a nice bunch, the only downside at the
moment being they are a bit short on instructors but I'm led to understand they are getting a new batch in next month so we'll see how it goes
How about you?
