Anyone heading out to San Diego?
Hey hey,
I'm heading out to San Diego to do my PPL at Gillespie airport in 9 days.... NINE DAYS!!!
I was just wondering if there's any other Ppruners out there who were heading in the same direction? Would be great if we could meet up, afterall we'd be in the same boat/aeroplane (sorry, bad joke)

Not going this year any more, but a fabulous place to fly.
BUT ... make sure you have a Visa before you go, or you'll get put back on the plane and sent home by immigration!

Hi Ian,
Good luck with your PPL, assuming you are going with Anglo American. I did an IR with them a few years ago and did some more with them last year.
