Smile A Newly Qualified PPL Writes....

G'day all...

Last Saturday the local postie delivered my lovely shiny PPL Licence from Gatwick - isn't it a lovely colour !

I would like to say thanks to the instructors at Denham and Long Beach CA for helping me to realise a lifelong ambition.

This forum has been invaluable reading for me over the past few months when the dream was just a dream !

Safe flying to all....

Paul

PS - If anyone out there needs a flying buddy to share costs etc.. just let me know. I could do with the nav and radio practice after returning from the US !

Thumbs up Nice new PPL.

I was taken by surprise regarding the babies nappy contents colour of the CAA PPL, I assume the JAR one is the same. Treat yourself to a nice leather cover from one of the Pilot supplies shops then the colour will be hidden. Congratulations, enjoy your flying.

Thunderbird -

It took around 5 nanoseconds for the 'delightful' colour suddenly to become my favorite. That was about the same time it took for me to realise that I was holding my PPL...MY PPL... in my hand.

Feels good, doesn't it?

FAB!

Cool

It feels damn good.

What next ? A few hours, an IMC/Night or a Jet Provost rating
