iPhone nav question

I use an iPhone day to day and I have Aware App running on it.

If I wanted to get another iPhone to instal semi-permanently on my panel, I'm not sure if the following is going to work:

1. I'm assuming I can have two iPhones on one Apple ID.

2. Is my Aware annual chart sub going to be valid for two iPhones on the same Airbox account?

3. Will the panel mounted iPhone need a SIM in it to allow Aware to function?

Tia

1) There's no limit

2) Yes, but you need to do the initial purchase through their website and log the devices into Thundercloud to sync them

3) No SIM needed, but without one you'll need to keep moving the phone into WiFi range to get updates. A cheap PAYG SIM might be less hassle...
