Big Red Kite

Any information about them?
Their website, unfortunately, seems to be outdated with prices current as of 2011... I was thinking of doing my HB on a Piper in Europe instead of going to America and they were the only ones I know with competitive good rates.

I tried contacting them, hopefully I'll get a reply.

What's a Big Red Kite (apart from being a big red kite, of course)?
What's a HB?
But a website not updated in five years is not a good indication for success, whatever, generally.

Well, I did some research and it turns out they stopped HB contracts some years ago due to the loss of one of the directors and they started leasing their planes to flying club. But this info dates back to three years ago... So I was actually hoping they were back in the HB business.

And HB stands for hour building. I need to fly 100 hours to continue my modular training.

There are some other threads here on BRK, some of them as recent as last year.

I can put you in touch with BRK (owner posts on here as A and C but isn't able to PM) - PM me if interested. Not sure if HB leases still possible though as the club utilisation is much higher than it used to be.

Tim has got the situation right, the hours building business was using aircraft time that was not being used on a flying club lease, the flying club has now built a business that is now using the aircraft at such a rate there is no aircraft availability for hours building.

A website update is planned but as with all things more urgent stuff keeps pushing it to the back of the line.
