Moving tailwheel aircraft.
Is there a contraption for moving larger tailwheel aircraft? A motorised tug or bogie is a bit overkill.
I remember seeing ads for a manually operated device that looked like looked a bit like a push bike, with peddle at the top that was rotated by hand connected to a wheel on the ground by a chain.
I’ve checked some past aviation mags but turned a blank.
Thanks....

Potter1, the device you have seen is called the Wingwalker. There was a picture ofit in Pilot Magazine.
The manufacture has a web site at
http://www.wingwalker.co.za
The web site says that it has been adapted for certain taildraggers, but I would also ask about it's performance on grass before going ahead and ordering one.
