US Trust?

Where do I find extensive information on how to run an aircraft in Europe under an US Trust?

A fellow friend is into buying a N-registered aircraft from an individual in the US. After looking at all changes necessary to get it under his local dictatorship, we try to figure out wether keeping it N.reg is an option. ThxiA!

I know little of this, other having recently heard that the FAA is reducing their support for the operation of off shore aircraft, so inspections and regulatory support could become much more difficult. It would be wise to understand what the future could hold.

Another vote for Southern Aircraft Consultancy, they look after my N reg experimental racer and have done a great job of looking after me.

I've been using International Air Services with Bob Garretson for the last 7 years. No complaints and they are the lowest cost.
The web site's lousy, but they do a good job.

When I moved my aircraft to the N reg my daughter, who is a solicitor, looked at the various trusts on offer from a legal point of view. The one she liked was Optimus Fuga Pactum. I would suggest that you have a legal expert look over any trust before you proceed - at least one trust will not let you see the trust wording before you pay for it!
There is good info on N registered aircraft at peter2000.co.uk
