Nifty weather site
http://greatserversdns5.co.uk/~xcweather/
Apologies if everybody already knows this site, but it's quite good. It seems to take the METARs and display them graphically.

Another one. http://www.wapf.com/world/EGHI.html
I know it says 'Unreliable' but it seems good to me.
A simpler URL for the first one is
www.xcweather.co.uk
They all say it's crappy today, and I'm supposed to be flying in an hour...

Not quite on topic, but talking of useful sites.
If you ever need to see an aerial photograph of an airport, farm strip or private landing site before you get there..... here's the place to go...
Blackpool Airport for instance
I find it very useful for finding a hotel landing spot before I do the flight in the fling wing.
It'll work with any postcode.... have a play and see what you think
