First 50 PIC Hours!

Howdy!

The "What to do with your PPL" post sparked my imagination for this one. I've had a PPL for several months and slowly build my confidence by crawling further a feild each month from a heavily controlled field. I've made tons of small mistakes (taxing past parking spot, full carb+throttle etc) and once tried to land on a taxiway. Other than that, I've still nervous using ONLY DR or pilotage for navigation (big, big VOR/GPS/lakes fan!) in fear of busting airspace or crossing a centre-line.

Somebody once said that during your first 50 hours, you'll probably nearly kill yourself once. Well, what confessions are out there for such learning expeirances, not quite near death expeirances, but small blips the rest of us can learn from (or laugh at?)?
