Hi Glencoeian.
It will probably be just the mic which has gone faulty, which is not uncommon with DC headsets.
If your any good with small tools the mic unscrews very easily from the boom, so you could fix it yourself..Adams Aviation sell them..
I have been running DC headsets for years, when they do stop workings its like your favorite dog turning on you...

Headset Services are excellent but be warned, for my Sennheiser passive headset the cost of repair (new cable) was remarkably close to the price of a new one. Though when they'd finished it was like a new one anyway.

glencoeian: can't recommend Headset Services enough, they just put a brand new cable with nickel plugs on it on my H10-13.4's.
That said, I'm looking to sell this headset, if you are interested?
