Napps Field airfield near Billericay

Contemplating a flight to somewhere near Billericay and wondered whether anyone has recent experience of Napps Field.

Also what are Stansted like these days with a VFR clearance to route overhead at 90 degrees to centreline?

Thanks for any help.

Not flown in here this year but. The strips about 650m long and flat. apart from the first 100 meters of the western end. which slowly dips away. Hedge / telephone cable/poles at the eastern end which follow the road line at that end.

trevs99uk, thanks for the advice. We flew there today and the strip was in good condition and the owner very welcoming and helpful.
